IGUAZU FALLS BREATHTAKING

Another recommendation when you will explore the falls: in addition to the above Devil's Throat, you must not miss the falls called Dos Hermanas (two stunning parallel waterfalls), San Martín, Bozzetti, Belgrano, Rivadavia and 3 Mosqueteros. You can Access those via 2 different path: the lower and upper footpath.

IGUAZU FALLS HISTORY

A very important historical site that Hostelling International suggests is the ruins of San Ignacio. Located 60 km from the city of Posadas, there you will know the legacy of one of the towns founded by the Jesuits in the early seventeenth century. The temple was built by the Guarani Indians and its facade was rebuilt in 1610 in the missionary jungle. Our youth hostel is located in the heart of San Ignacio, just 5 blocks from the Jesuit ruins.

IGUAZU FALLS NATURE

We have to mention now that a trip you must not miss is the one to the falls under the light of the full moon. Another one is to tour the jungle in a nice ecological train that moves at 20 km per hour thanks to a gas engine reducing environmental impact. From the dock you should know that Puerto Canoas barges depart towards the Garganta del Diablo and the Sendero Macuco is ideal for exploring the lush jungle surroundings by bike do some bird watching, discover some of the 400 species and some 2000 plants all representing the greatest diversity of flora and fauna

IGUAZU FALLS EXPERIENCE

The northern city of the province of Misiones gathers every year thousands of tourists from around the world who are dazzled by its 3 km long falls counting no less than 275 waterfalls that make up the Iguazu Falls. Many people consider this gift of nature as one of the 7 wonders of the world, which was declared Natural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 1984. With falls ranging from 50 to 80 meters, the Garganta del Diablo is one of the most spectacular. The more intrepid visitors get to see them by boat, guided by experts, navigating several miles down the Iguazu River until they reach the jungle of Misiones, from where they follow on the journey on land vehicles.
